Not this time for Browns Bay
Sunday May 7, 2017 – On one of the few occasions this season, Browns Bay players have failed to feature at the business end of a North Harbour Competition.
On the first day of the Bowls North Harbour Champ of Champ Men’s and Women’s singles at Manly yesterday, Scott Evans was knocked out in the second round by Stewart MacDonald from Warkworth, while Lisa Parlane lost in the quarter finals to Margaret Sakey from Takapuna.
This left today’s play devoid of the familiar Browns Bay colours but it has never the less been another incredible season for the club. We can’t win them all.
